This guy is rocking out with what I can best describe is a Korn type nu metal sound. He is all in with the showmanship.

Problem: there is no fucking band. He us playing to a recorded backing track.

I am old and not cool. But in my day, this would have been the death of any rock cred. I am watching a guy sing and play guitar to s tape. God damn it.

When I was in college, there was a bar that had karaoke nights, but with a twist—the music was all played by a stupidly talented guitarist. Now you’re making me miss being young, drunk, and shameless.

Kids these days, putting musicians out of work with their Applebooks and autotune. Looks like part of a drumkit in the background, is this like an open mic thing? There have to be better live music options there on a Friday night, right?

At least the dude plays guitar, maybe he’s trying to find some players.
